Living or Hanging onto the Past?

20 years ago 0 109 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi Lea I think to some degree everyone does that. Its hard to let go especially when we also suffer anxiety. I do the opposite too which is even worse for me - I look too far into the future. Funny we have no control over the past or the future only the present and I spend too much time in the two I can't control.

Hi all, Had a down day yesterday and still a bit down and depressed today - just wondering if anyone else tends to live in the past rehashing things that happened or contantly playing out senarios in their head? Instead of moving on and forgetting, it seems like certain things only happened yesterday and I keep reliving them although they happened years ago. I know its unhealthy to hang onto negative experiences but its something I've done all my life. Does anyone else do this sort of thing or is it just me who is too obsessed with the past? Any advice or feedback would be appreciated :)
