All you need now this year is for the Astros to go one step further than 2005 and that would be the cherry on the cake - and probably more tears!!! Good Luck! Penitent d1430 :)

I too have done a lot of praying during this quit. Finding this site and the caring peopleis a Blessing. Each person that comes by and reaches out for help and shares and returns.. That's what it is all about. Now if more in life could be like this.. ........ ((((((((hugs)))))))) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/10/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 64 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,088 Amount Saved: $217.60 Life Gained: Days: 9 Hrs: 6 Mins: 51 Seconds: 33

Hi Astro, I really believe that all the praying I did, have done, and still do is what is getting me through this. If I had continued to take my life and our Lord for granted, I wouldn't have made it this far. And of course, without this site and all the wonderful, caring people here, I would probably still be smoking. So thank you for thanking us all and God Bless!!!! i would really like to say a special thank you to each and every one of you. you folks are great. i have to admit that things are really going good for me now , not smoking doesn't bother me at all.the problem is i was starting to take it for granted and not really thankful enough. god has a way of taking care of that. for some reason at lunch i decided to look back at some of my original posts. and i was then reminded of the emotions i had in the early days of quitting , and i was reminded of what great things you guys said that helped me get through those times. yes i admit , i had tears in my eyes. so thank you all very much. quitting has been fantastic , god given , and i could not have succeeded so far without you.
