Hi Mike!!!
A BIG congrats on reaching that one month plateau!!! After a slow start, you really came out swinging and connecting with that great non-smoker within!!! You're really making us all proud!!!
The trip was great for a whirlwind long weekend!!! Met some new glassblowers and learned some new techniques and ate some good Mexican food!!! I came home with 2 extra pounds, too!!! UGH!! So today, I start my diet!!! ;p
I was sort of dreading the trip a bit, as it was my first long trip as a non-smoker!! I did have to fight off some urges AND some CRAVES, but I made it through the whole weekend better than I though I would before I left!!! The biggest crave came up in the bumper to bumper, stop and go traffic going through Austin!!! It was very discouraging and stressful!! My jaws got a good workout on the sugar free gum during that stretch!!!
Anyways, we had dinner AND lunch at a place called Mammacita's right beside the hotel. The food was delicious, but pretty plain Jane!!! My wife's conference is there this summer, so I'll get to explore a few more places while she's in meetings!!! :eg:
Oh well, back to work for me!!! CONGRATS again on your 1 month accomplishment!!!! Great job!!!!
Jim
