Thanks Changing, I need to know that. I was actually able to do some work around the house last night when I got home from work. This was huge for me, as I usually come home and hit the couch right away. Hopefully this upward spiral continues. It may be slow, but as long as its upwards I will take it...one min at a time. ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/6/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 125 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,750 Amount Saved: $468.75 Life Gained: Days: 10 Hrs: 4 Mins: 51 Seconds: 12

Ube, the Wellbutrin was ok for the first few weeks, then it actually seemed to increase my anxiety. Thats what it seemed like, but I was using the patch and it could have been that, not sure. I had a problem with Zoloft, so you seem to be able to tolerate better. If you can take it, do it, don't try and be brave right now, its not a good time to battle to many demons. Good luck to you. ANXIOUS1 you said that you took wellbutrin in the past and that you had problems with it. i would like to know what happened, because i have been taken that for about a month now. Before that i was on zoloft, it helped me, but after a while, i didnt want to be on pills anymore, when i slowly got weened off the zoloft, i started to feel really depressed, so i went back to see another doctor, the one i had didnt seem to really care and didnt seem to be as knowledgeable the way i think doctors should be. She decided to put me on wellbutrin. I am a very depressed person and i have anxiety as well, so i kind of know what you are going through. Reading this thread as made me cry, (possibly because it is my first day) :) it is really nice to see a lot of people to care and give advice, and by reading what you guys have written and how much you guys all encourage and help eachother, i really have the feeling that this time i will be able to quit smoking and get better. You have to get FIRM with the receptionist... NO I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THEN. I need to be seen this week. I am having an emotional melt down. If you cant make me an appointment please connect me to the Dr's assistant or her voice mail so I can leave a message. This is Your emotional health. If you cut your finger off. you wouldn't just say oh ok june 2nd is fine.. the squeeky whell is going to get the grease. These are people answering the phone.. and handing out what pops up on the computer screen... YOU have to get Firm.. you have to get to the nurse and let someone know how you are feeling and that June 2nd is NOT acceptable. you have to stick up for yourself. the person on the ohter end of the phone doesn;t have a clue you need help or how you feel and will just give you the first appointment that shows up on the screen. the nurse has appointment she will hold onto for someone who needs to get in sooner.. but you have to let them know.... ( I was a medical assistant) GET past the receptionist..... ( I had voice mail.. and I the receptionists I worked with knew I would come UN glued if I didn't get patient messages ... either by voice mail or hand written notes from them.) The nurse and Dr. don't know .... they are seeing patients, etc.. you have to push the receptionist and explain how impotant it is. Hey Sloopster!!! I just happened to look at the back of my B-50 vitamin bottle on Saturday and most of the B vitamins in the pill were in excess of the daily recommended allowance. For what it's worth, I think probably 1 a day is enough! Just my opinion, I'm just a glassblower!!! ;p Hang in there tough and it WILL get better!!! Keep posting and we'll keep telling you so!!!
