Congrats on the 60... YEAH HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY DANCE FOR MY GOOD FRIEND ROCKSTAR. Yes... guard that quit.. even if it means being a bit crabby for a bit.. your emotions will level out. they are kind of "new" also, no we are not hiding them under smoke. or numbing them with nicotine. Hi rockstar, no one has been telling me that by using the inhaler that I'm not quit but that's how I've been feeling about using the inhaler, that I was free of cigarettes but not nicotine. So last Wednesday was the last day I used the inhaler and now as I'm about to celebrate one smoke free month, I can say that I am totally cigarette and nicotine free. So to all the newbies out there, you can do this!!!! Have a great smoke free night!! hey, welcome to the scc... i didn't want any of you to think i was ignoring you. it's just that a few short days ago i was in your shoes. and hearing about your struggles is a trigger for me. you have made a great choice, remember to reward yourself alot..as my freind bj says "smoking wont change a thing" so, guard your decision don't let anyone tell you that you are not quit untill you give up your patches or have a specific amout of days or what have you.. also don't be surprized at the other lifstyle changes that may occur along the way (i'm becoming a fitness buff and am no longer a daily potsmoker) i do however speak my mind alot more than i use to . let the experienced ones here help you and remember that its YOUR RIGHT to be a little edgy for a few weeks.. make a list of all the things you wanted to do but, couldnt because you smoked. and finally post before you smoke, break something before you breakdown and remember that everything in this life is temporary. feel free to add me on your "IM BUDDY" list and keep not smoking you can do it and it's really fun to prove to someone that the impossible is possible. trust me i know -60 days free!!
