Scared me too. Great analogy BC even though I'm a guy. Congrats to you on 9 months. I know you had some rough times along the way. I think about the fact that you made it and I, we, can too. Thanks for sharing. moss My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/19/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 137 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,055 Amount Saved: $462.38 Life Gained: Days: 22 Hrs: 2 Mins: 11 Seconds: 29

Good Morning SSC Group, When I looked in this morning I saw where Lainey had started a congratulatory thread for me having 9 months. Thank you Lainey, your always on top of things. You all know how much the milestones mess with our thinking but this is one that I just can't keep from compareing new life too. It is actually like giving birth. You Guys wont understand this but all the Mothers will. You start out with just knowing something is different. A change is coming. Then you start getting a sick feeling in your stomach. Morning sickiness.Noon sickness. Night sickness. Then your emotions go all crazy, you cry real easy or get Pi**ed off real quick. Then you start getting hungry. Everything sounds good. Then your body starts to change. A pouch here and there. Then you realize something is going on inside of you. You are searching deeper than before. Then you realize your life has changed forever. There is a joy in discovering new life. The joy remains and the pains fade. I never thought I would be smoke free this long. I contribute that to the knowledge I have gained from all of you before me. The times you actually pulled me along. The love I felt through the screen and the friendships we have formed. for this I say thank You. For my new birth...A nice dinner..a new outfit...a great feeling. My reward is knowing I no longer need or want to smoke.
