I may be just a man, but I DO understand what y'all are going through, as I DO have a better half living with me!!! You can gripe all you want, but I'll still be around to give y'all support and maybe just a little ribbing! The only thing that matters is that we keep the nico-demon at arm's length!!! Have a GREAT smoke-free evening!!! I think quitting smoking has sped up my menopausal symptoms, but that's ok because I can't wait to be done with all that too!!!!! I am a worry wart! So if I see a double chin or an extra roll at the waistline I am freaking out. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for me. Remember that Hot Flash conversation we were having yesterday? Well I believe a lot of this could all be tied together. LOL :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 46 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 460 Amount Saved: $69.00 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 7 Mins: 17 Seconds: 41

I know... it really does suck!!! Not as bad as smoking, though!!! This morning while I was shaving, I looked at my face and it is all puffed out and it looks like I'm starting to get a double chin!!! I'm not going to worry about it right now!! I have bigger fish to fry!!! ;) The weight WILL come off when I'm ready for it to!!! So, don't worry about it or stress over it too much!!! We really do have a great thing going!!! I guess somewhere in my I knew it would happen, but not in my wildest imagination did I think that I would outgrow my clothes. Hi Terry!!! You're early in your quit and you probably knew that this would happen!!! I sure did!! I was hoping that it wouldn't happen to me, but it did!! You know what, though.... WE QUIT and WE'RE NEVER LOOKING BACK!!! We'll get over this in due time, be patient!!! Cigarettes Not Smoked

I know there are probably things I could give up like the ice cream at night and the creamer in my coffee in the morning and the 1 soda a day that I drink. I have always been able to do these things and I've never done them to excess. It's bad enough we are dealing with the quit, but then to have to add the extra stress of giving up any and all food that might add extra weight is way to much for me right now. I'm angry about it today. One big emotional mess.
