Tkusant, Stay strong! When your cravings get really bad try going for a short brisk walk. The adrenaline it produces mimics the feeling that you have after a cigarette. Try to change your routine a little bit too so you can remove some of the daily triggers that you face. Come online and read and post as often as you need to; it's a great distraction and there are tons of other posts from quitter just like yourself that have made it through tough times. Lastly, keep working on creating a strong coping plan to help you through any cravings. The members should be able to help you out with some of their tricks and tips to get through cravings. Todd, Glad to hear you made it through some rough cravings. Every day it gets a little better. Keep posting. We're here 24/7. Deep breathing, water, sugar free candies, walking, to name a few things that help. One of my very favourites is CSI:Miami and Law and Order. They take my attention. Keep that quit going strong. Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/27/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 72 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,800 Amount Saved: $612.00 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 6 Mins: 29 Seconds: 22

Wow Todd - i'm sorry I missed your emergency and all, but good for you for doing so well now. I'm kind of into printing - I design stuff to be printed and then broker the actual printing... tell me more about what your company does? Just can't help it guys...this is a thread started by a person for whom drinking is a trigger, and now it has been hijacked with talk about wine! ;) So how are you doing, tkusant? Hi Phil, I am living in a town called Altea, on the Costa blanca. My avatar is my view from the window. I am actually English. I think you deserve a few bottles of Rioja with your stats!!! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 16 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 256 Amount Saved: 17.05 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 3 Mins: 45 Seconds: 38
