Way to go Carlarae! I have quit but my husband has not, for the most part he smokes outside but with the windows open the smoke smell just floats right into the house. In past quits that would bother/trigger me, this time it only stinks! I look at as there are going to be places where people/friends/family are smoking, and I just have to remember that I don't smoke and keep on walking! Or sometimes I might need to run!!! Awsome accomplishment!!! I was thinking the same thing that Grin was!!! I would have had to take a LONG shower when I got home and threw my clothes in the washing machine out to the garage! Then I would have had to spray the Fabreze in the car... AGAIN!!! Way to look that demon in the eye and then slap him in the face!! Carlarae, Good for you for making it through such a trigger-filled night. Keep all the coping skills that you learned handy for next time you find yourself in a similar situation. Brenna, Bilingual Health Educator

Great Job Carlarae. I am very surprised at how many people still smoke in their homes. I quit that about 6 or 7 years ago, so that's been a nasty thing for me for quite some time. I have a friend that I was going to visit the other day and I asked her to come to my house instead and she could step out and smoke instead of me being in her home and she smoking inside. Check you out!! Carlarae, I am impressed as can be. I had to stay away from my smoking friends for at least a couple of weeks. If you can get through that test, you are an incredibly strong person. My hat's off to you..get ready to reward yourself big time!!
