Yes Faith, it does take some learning this. How to "do" life without a cigarette.
Thanks for all your replies guys, it definitely makes me feel better, and makes me realize that I am "normal". Whatever that may be.
I have to say that somethimes I forget just how powerful this addiction is. Even though I physically don't feel like picking up a cigarette and smoking, and even though the smell of smoke on other people does nothing for me, the psychological part of the quit punches me hard in the stomach sometimes.
We're going along fine for a while then BOOM! it hits. And the wonder sets in. "What is wrong with me?"
That's when its nice to know its still the addiction, and not me. That I can deal with.
Bed early tonight, and through it all, I'm sooooo glad I don't smoke!!!!.
