Trying to get a Job

You mentioned opening your own business and that you can provide administrative services. Have you thought about being a virtual assistant? I have opened my own virtual assistant (VA) business and although growth is slow, I have high hopes. It's great being a VA. No gossipy or backstabbing colleagues, no office politics, you can work from home and set your own hours. All you need is a computer (which you already have) and the appropriate equipment to be an admin person at home. Good luck! Edited on 3/3/2005 @ 9:20:36 AM by The Support Team

Hey! Have you thought of doing something like Home Interiors or something like that? I know you work your own hours, set your own schedule and can pretty much make good money if you choose to work for it. I have never done it but i have seen several housewifes/stay at home moms do and they have done great.

What does everyone here do in the way of employment? I have been out of work for ages because of this stupid disorder/thing and have a bad employment record now. I've been thinking of starting my own business but I don't really know what to do and don't really have the money to start it up. I need to get work of some kind as I have to make some money! I would love to work from home doing admin or typing work but its trying to find someone who will give me the chance. I dont' know how I will cope returning to the workforce and actually turning up at a job every day, I've had so many problems with it in the past. I guess I'm just really venting here, I've had a bad day and feel really stressed out and feel like everything is hopeless. Did anyone else have a situation like this and get over it somehow? Any comments would be appreciated.
