sleep and dreams ....

Hi GG, I am a couple of weeks off the patch and I still am having vivid dreams! I rather like them though. I never used to remember my dreams when I smoked so this is still kinda cool for me. Congrats on a GREAT decision. Aren't those stats of yours nice? :) Faith My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/23/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 86 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,150 Amount Saved: $1,032.00 Life Gained: Days: 9 Hrs: 20 Mins: 33 Seconds: 9

Hey GG, I did the patch, and had the dreams! They are just dreams, yes, and colorful ones at that! They used to make me laugh. I didn't let them bother me. MJ's right, you can take it off before bed, but it makes the morning a bit tougher until it kicks back in (about 15 - 20 minutes) :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 379 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 9,475 Amount Saved: $3,998.45 Life Gained: Days: 49 Hrs: 19 Mins: 14 Seconds: 10

I to had the most bizarre dreams/nightmares when I was using the patch. Some people have reported relief from this if you take the patch off before you go to bed. Just be prepared for a morning crave until you get one back on. Hey GG! You think the patch is bad... you should have tried the Chantix!!! I've had some wierd dreams EVERY NIGHT!!! I have also woken up at all hours of the night!! Sometimes I could get back to sleep easily and sometimes not!!! I can't wait to get of the drug and get some real sleep like I used to!!! Maybe the patch IS affecting your sleep, as nicotine is continuously entering your body and stimulating you!!! Just a guess! Oh, and congrats on your 10 whole days!!! You're almost through Heck Week now!!!
