Hi Frankie & welcome to the March Mellows club! There is hope for everyone and if those who tried before us can do it--so can we!! I'm early in my quit too--but I do think each day is getting a little easier. I love being out of the smoking prison--always making sure I had the cigs, the matches, a place to smoke etc...I love not being stinky..& being able to breathe better. Hang in there with us...WE can do this..... ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 19 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 570 Amount Saved: $128.25 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 5 Mins: 37 Seconds: 55

Frankie, Welcome back! You know the drill, work through the tools of the program and be active in the group. Find new friends also, your friends shouldn't kill you slowly :p Danielle, Bilingual Health Educator

Hi Frankie, you are not alone here. And like Sassy said, "If I can do it, so can you"!! I also have been a smoker forever and this site has been the best thing to happen to me. Without this site and more importantly the people on this site, I'd still be smoking and thinking that there was no hope for me. Hang in there and stay close to the site and you'll be fine. you can do it....i have been a smoker forever and am now on day #42...if i can make it..anyone can... keep reminding yourself that the cigarette is NOT your friend...no matter how comforting it has been for you - nothing good came out of it. it is not easy but you are correct - this group is helpful so come back to it as often as you need to...good luck...you can do it! Hi Everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself. I am not new here but I haven't been here in a couple of years. I also changed my screen name to something different. I didn't do so well the first time I came around but I always remembered the advise and the great support I got while I was here, so of couse I came back when I decided ot quit again :) I am on Chantix and it is working good for me so far. I still feel like I have lost something and I keep trying to find it. Almost like my best friend, but I am working through it and haven't had a slip. I am working through it the best I can, but still need people like you and this site to help me through it. Thanks for still being here after 2 years!! Frankie
