Way to be strong, A1! I am laughing with you at the sight of you running with that "hot potato". Considering that it is an addiction that we are dealing with, you certainly did not overreact. And not to mention, what happened to Sparky! Good for you on chunking that junkie in the trash!!

LOL, on one of my quits I found 5 packs in the street in front of my house. I saw a sack laying there and went down to pick it up so I could throw it away and there inside were 5 packs of unopened cigarettes. I picked up and was bringing them into the house to give to husband to get rid of, but on my way I had talked myself in keeping one pack and then a couple more steps I thought maybe two and then I gave all five to husband and we got rid of them.
The sad thing is it set off all kinds of bad thinking for me and I lost my quit a few days later.
I am so proud of you for getting rid of that darn pack as quickly as you did. Now you deserve a special reward.
Keep the Quit
Sparky

I lost my new cell phone earlier today. I was digging around the car in a panic and was reaching in between the seats and the shift counsil and I felt it..a pack of smokes. Oh geez, I pulled it up and looked at it. I really had no feelings at first, then all of a sudden fear. I ran, (like a lunatic) to the garbage can in our parking garage at work and almost hurled myself into the trash with them. Wow, that was very bizarre. I didn't think of smoking them, but I thought by holding them I would or something. I hope they don't have security cameras in our parking garage.. :)
