Cigarettes Not Smoked

HiDazey, try to stay busy and maybe do things a bit different. The first week I ran around saying NOPE to myself. (not one puff ever) and that there is no such thing as one puff. I am only one puff away from a pack a day. And everytime I said No I was Happy. I had plenty of cold water, lifesavers.. Stay Positive. Is your husband quitting on the same day? Stay right in here on site, Dazy and keep lots of cold water beside you for when you stop smoking altogether... Relax and breathe deeply when you feel the addiction niggling at your brain and talk to yourself.."I will NOT smoke ever again. I am stronger than nicotine..." Dazy, read everything you can here, in the next few days. It will help you immensely. Do the program if you haven't done it yet, it helps you figure out what kind of smoker you were. It is all very helpful! Yes, a positive attitude helps alot! You'll do great and we will help! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 375 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 9,375 Amount Saved: $3,956.25 Life Gained: Days: 49 Hrs: 5 Mins: 51 Seconds: 10

Dazy, You can but please check with your MD or pharmacist first! If you are dreading the weekend, start planning it out. Plan activities, rewards and fill your time so you have none left to dwell on the fact that you are not smoking. Keep close. Danielle, Bilingual Health Educator

Have you guys ever thought about real drug addicts? We're finding it so hard to give up, but how about them? It must hundred times harder. So let's think that way, it's easy for us! ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/17/2008 Smoke-Free Days: -2 Cigarettes Not Smoked: -24 Amount Saved: -1.80 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: -9164
