I did the same thing yesterday. Thankfully I did not direct my anger at the person but instead storming down the hallway at working cussing up a storm. Had to apologize to the guy that was repairing our xerox machine. Geez! I felt bad but did apologize and felt much better. Oh I have been there TOO!! Like..My coworker has this terrible habit of leaving ONE paper towel on the holder in the bathroom and just a few sheets of tp on the roll...Well I had HAD it the first week I quit and I came out of the bathroom just furious. Basically told her that I was tired of always being the one to change the rolls etc and that I didnt know if it was her or someone else that never took care of that task and why was I always the one that had to do this and that was JUST lazy etc.. Yep..Been there. Still feel bad about that one. Congratulations of making it through and coming out on the other side still not smoking.. Hello ICL, I am sorry to hear you are going through such a rough time but know it will get better I am not just saying this if you look back on some of my posts there where times when I thought I would never come to terms with the despair but you know what I did now I am not saying that is perfect all the time I have my bad moments but with each one I am getting stronger and they are getting fewer. You are strong too and I just know if you just stay strong you can do it. I see you have clocked up 27 days thats no mean task, that took courage and commitment. Good luck you can do this My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/2/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 71 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,130 Amount Saved: 777.45 Life Gained: Days: 9 Hrs: 20 Mins: 9 Seconds: 33

Hi ICL, Hope today is a more calm day for you. Yes,quitting can be quite a ride.Sometimes smooth and sometimes quite bumpy.Just strap yourself in and hope that you don't get car sick! Good for you on not taking your friend up on her offer of a cig! That shows strength and determination. Keep that scene in your mind and remember how strong you are for refusing.I hope you are proud of yourself, because you should be. And remind yourself, that there will be brighter days ahead! You are doing a great thing! ICL...You are an inspiration to us all. We know how dedicated you are to your quit, and these episodes of inconsiderate behavior is just making you stronger. Congratulations on your strength. sending (((((((HUGS )))))) your way. Well you made it through.. I'm glad you called your dad and his understanding was great, hope you 2 have a really nice tomorrow. You did a GREAT job, even with the friend offering.. hopefully you explained to her. you cannot casually smoke.. to you it is like being an alcholic or any one dependent on a drug. Please. don't offer, just hang in there when I blow up once in awhile. It is a bit over 30 days now for me. I am doing ok.. I have NOT had any REALLY bad craves in the last few days. Not that i haven't had any.. more like "urges" and I have distracted myself or gone for the ice cubes or ice water. You dinner and cheesecake sound wonderful..... I hear lavendar scent/little lavendar pillows and I think peppermint are supposed to be calming. maybe you could try a little lavendar sachet and if you get really cranky maybe a sniff of it will help? Hang in there... you can do this.. YOU DO NOT SMOKE My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/10/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 31 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 527 Amount Saved: $105.40 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 13 Mins: 30 Seconds: 48
