I am back from my vacation....STILL SMOKE FREE

Hi A1! Welcome back. So glad you're doing well. A change up in your schedule will really test you but, you came through with flying colors!! Good for you. These new cravings may be the result of your readjusting to your normal life after vacation. Probably not from cutting back on the Chantix. You'll get through those just fine. I'll bet you have plenty to keep you busy, eh? Take care, G :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 234 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,020 Amount Saved: $1,123.20 Life Gained: Days: 24 Hrs: 3 Mins: 0 Seconds: 40

Not yet Mr. Ed. If it ever does happen, I will be right back on the "horse" so to speak, I like being a non smoker, no matter how difficult some days can be. Yippee I am still here!! A1 I didn't know you were on Vaca. good to see you back and way to go on keeping your self cig-free. Jim, if you run back across this I took chantix for the 1rst 3-4 weeks and decided to try without. big mistake for me, cravings were back with a vengeance, went back on for about 3-4 more weeks and then stopped. Have been off since. I didn't have any problems the first few weeks but had some stomach issues after I went back on. I don't know if it was chantix or not but that is why I didn't go the full 12 week recommendation from my doc. Sometimes I feel on top of the no smoking world and still at other times I can't believe the intensity of wanting the familiar Ah-ha moment of smoking that cig. got to run right now but I'll check in tommorrow. A1 - I have a lawn chair set up with a cold beer waiting for you, and Goofy has been doing this weird beach dance all day. See you soon. Jim, you will be there before you know it. Faith, getting close-way to go. Island Girl getting on the boat tommorrow. N2 is on the way and BJ you will be cruisin' before you know it. Lainey already owns a beach house. Maybe she will rent us a room. Josie, As always, keep an eye on us and Thanx.
