My husband and I do this too!!! I will say, shes not inhaling, or he will go, hes a real smoker, you can tell. When you smoke you don't pay attention to who else is smoking, when you stop, it seems like the whole world is smoking...weird. I sometimes see people smoking in their cars with the windows all rolled up...euwh...I hated that when I smoked. Look at them, it is a hazy head covered up in a gray cloud..yuck. I just thought this post was funny, we do the same thing. ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/6/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 95 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,850 Amount Saved: $356.25 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 19 Mins: 5 Seconds: 50

Yes - and why are they still going on? I thought it was over, but they seem to be making a come back? I saw some actress on Leno talking about smoking for a movie, and she smoked herbal cigs. I know I wouldn't do it. yuck And while i'm here, and since you mentioned Die Hard - I just watched the latest one, and can I just say that special effects and stunts are supposed to enhance a movie and make the plot more exciting.. they're not supposed to BE the movie with no plot. Nice one, Gen.! I love to study the actors who don't smoke pretending to be an "old hand" at it and failing... what a thing they have to go through for their careers... that and a bunch of other "pretend" stuff... Went to the local theatre the other night and a scene required someone to smoke. She lit up one of those pretend ones but even then I found myself studying her manner and decided she wasn't a 'real' smoker anyway. Then remembered that I'm not one now either. Glad of it too. The smoking in the movies, doesn't bother me at all. What does bother me, believe it or not, is being in my car, windows open, and someone in another car is smoking, and the smoke comes into my car. This happened on the way home from work last week, from the car in front of me! I know they have the right to smoke, but it just bothered me. I feel better now, having vented. Oh, a smoking movie that's loaded is Breakfast at Tiffany's - I know it's a few decades old, but it's a classic. The smoking is so prevelent it almost spoofs the act :-) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/9/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 547 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 21,880 Amount Saved: $10,940.00 Life Gained: Days: 50 Hrs: 16 Mins: 58 Seconds: 19

LOL Teresa and Patric - I'm so there too! Some days I wonder how I ever managed to breathe at all while smoking, that stuff is just so thick. Me too... I actually watch carefully, like Tresa and you, and actually feel the pain as the actors inhale! Morbid fascination keeps me looking and feeling the years of being stupid and recalcitrant when everyone who loved me was telling me to quit....
