Reflecting back to the beginning through today, you know that you have made the right decision to quit smoking. Along the way it is nip-and-tuck at times, and you are not certain if you are going to make it. Isnt that what quitting is about, uncertainly at time? Just letting that one thought overpower you can send a quit into a spin. Distractions were everything that is what worked for me. It made me forget about wanting a cigarette. A mere thought about something else or doing something physical can make the difference, sending your quit further into positive territory. What is that that we say? One moment, one day at a time brings forth positive results. And as the months add up your strength snowballs, and you may wonder why you ever smoked. You will get to a point, when smoking rarely crosses your mind and then never. And you will see what smoking is really all about, its just a nothing. Twenty-five months today.
