I know that feeling of needing something. And if I ponder on it long enougn, I associate it with a cig craving. I too, know what you are feeling. It does get better, it still happens, but instead of it being kinda scarry and really hard to fight, it becomes an irritaion, like what the heck? Is or was your husband a smoker? I hope your are getting the support you need. My husband is on week three of quitting and you should hear the junkie talk coming out of him, I find it humorous. He of course is to much of a man to join the site (he is quite jealous of it actually, like I am going to have some online affair or something), refuses to change any patterns, won't take vitamins or read self help books. He his quite challenging. Now he thinks he will become a cigar smoker, just puffing on them instead of inhaling. I am tired of trying to help him see what his mind is doing, so I told him to go ahead. He said he is only quitting for me anyway, so if he doesn't want to help himself, I guess I just need to take care of myself. He is trying to not be a, well, I really can't come up with anything, oh, maybe a jerk(not what I was thinking), but he flies off the handle at me and the kids at least five times a day..short lived but enough to P### me off. I know where its coming from, so I let it go. Men..they think they can conquer anything without help. I shouldn't really say that, we have some very inspriational men on this site and love talking to all of them.
I am glad today is better for you..maybe there was something in those cherries!!! I try to smile and hope that my brain follows suit. Thanks for responding, I was feeling lonley out here today. ;)
