Thanks for the posting. I feel a lot better for the moment. I have read the Secret and believe it to be true. Thanks for helping me refocus on what's important. Which is one more day quit!!! Thanks, Unhooked. That means a lot coming from you. I KNOW that I'm in the zone but I am kinda afraid to catch myself 'smirking' like some little kid who has a stash of Xmas cake that the family doesn't know about! I have been having this crazy mixture of feelings of brimstone and sympathy for the locals I see out on their stoops smoking in -20C weather. I'm trying hard to have a little humility and not want to scream this site addy at them from the street! ICL Like your post alot...Thank you for sharing it. I too beieve that we are little self-creating machines and that our thoughts are very important life generators. In saying that I do not diminish in anyway the travails of this world, however, the way in which one thinks and the very thoughts we choose to own do indeed enable us to live peacefully in the world. And in the end that is the essence of quitting for me, the will and determination to stop poisoning ourselves begins in the smallest recess of the mind. nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 422 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,660 Amount Saved: $4,431.00 Life Gained: Days: 78 Hrs: 18 Mins: 20 Seconds: 53

Had a really good day! Barely thought about cigs and had an uncomfortable feeling for about half an hour in total for the whole day and I was around a smoker this evening. Today was good. Bring on tommorrow! I had also seen the secret about a year ago and it certainly hit home. I completely believe in everything it had to say and feel that this is a very benefical DVD for anyone to see. It has an excellent message and I do believe it works. I had some girlfriends that tried bringing in the positive and you know what....it worked. I have a few friends that are living examples of positive things happening and attracting positive energy! I think it is quite obvious that you can manifest anything you want whether it is positive or negative. I also bought the book but haven't read it yet, but I think the message is the important part. Congrats on bringing this into your life and it is fantastic that you realized quickly and at such a young age! This will make a tremendous difference to your quit journey as well as to your life overall. I feel that you are taking great steps towards a better life for yourself and the day you get married, have a child, or whatever monumental experience happens in your life....you will be thankful for being a non smoker! I am 26 years old and have not gotten married or had children yet either (within the next 2 yrs!!!!) but will I ever be happy when I am already quit and don't have to go through the whole quitting process again. Being positive is very beneficial when quitting anything as it makes the journey much more pleasent and rewarding. Congrats on such a wonderful decision and finding a way to flip it all around and make it positive. I have so many things that make each day wonderful because I don't smoke....smelling good, not being a slave to nicotine, having more time, having more energy and a better attitude, a feeling of empowerment, savings money and being a proud non-smoker! Thanks for such an amazing post! Best wishes for your quit journey being a positive one!
