I noticed we are all past the initial stage of cessation (hell and heck week)and still dealing with cravings that can get pretty intense. Are you all as surprised as me that it can get as intense as it does sometimes. I wouldn't begin to suggest how you feel but some posts indicate that you, myself included sometimes yet, are still fighting the demon with most of our claws out at times still.
If it is any consolation it was a bout day 50 that I began to feel a little different. As many have already said, the urges become a little easier to dismiss and the intensity lessens. I used to wonder how the veterans felt when they would say it will get better, You know, How does it get better? Do the craves stop? Does the depression/anxiety lift? Will We feel like our old selves again? Will we be able to smile as much as we used to? Will we be able to do the same things and go to the same places? And we could go on and on and on with questions.
I came to one conclusion. If we smoke again, we will never find out. Heck, what is a few months of discomfort, sometimes extreme discomfort, in order to experience what all these good folks have talked a bout. I trust Nonic, Bear, Lainey, and Tina are being truthful with us. We can all do this.
WE ARE DOING IT!!!
