I don't thing it's easy for anyone really. They have done it already. Cutting down is only to work back to the few a day so that I can quit easier on Saturday. DJ have you quit yet or are you getting ready? Do you have a quit date set?

Keep trying, I'm doing the same. This is got to be the hardest thing to do. Seems easy for some people but I'm sure it's not. It's just them and not me.

Terry, Allan Carr has written a great book about how easy it is to quit.. It will change the way you think about smoking. "if you think you can, you can" I can not remember who said this, but Allan's book really talks about a positive attitude. PS Cutting down is great, but for me it was easier not to have any smokes around and just never have another puff... The crave usually only last about 5 minuets, so if you can distract yourself for just a few moments you can make it!!!!!!! Lots of luck.. Okay lets begin by forgeting about the future .You're cutting back right. So every time you pick up a cigarette just become aware of what your doing at the moment and stop and ask yourself " do I nedd this cigarette or can I pospone it until later. I felt that way 2 days ago and then the last 2 days I'm just in such a fog over this loss and I don't really know where my head is at. Yes I do still want to quit and I think maybe just talkin with all you people on this site, will get me back where I was. I've jumped up a little in how many I've had the last couple of days but working today on cutting back down to a smaller amount. I still feel the same about quitting. I want to real bad. Terry

My Thread got moved and I need to start another chat here. I am into this week with my new quit date of Feb 9th. I feel my thoughts slowly drifting back to my old thoughts instead of what I have been doing. I need thoughts, feedback, suggestions once again so I can get cut back again and ready for Saturday. Thanks Terry
