Hi Mary, it is always good to hear from you. I really am sorry you are facing the stressful situation with your child. They do test you don't they? But, as Lainey said, once you get through this without smoking, it will only make you stronger in your quit. And I am sure that you know, that smoking wont make it any easier. Hang tough, you are doing great at 60 days. That is wonderful!! And you have worked so hard to get to where you are. To be proud! Hi Leo, nice to meet you. Congrats on your close to 18 months. that is awesome! I do know what you mean by in the beginning, time just stands still! I think I am finally back on regular time :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 206 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,180 Amount Saved: $988.80 Life Gained: Days: 21 Hrs: 5 Mins: 28 Seconds: 38

Just thought I'd check in as well. It's been well over a year since I've last been here because after I got what I felt was needed for my quit longevity. I left to focus on my quit. But a recent friend of mines whom I met through a site regarding disorders, has a husband who could use this site and so the name came to me just now and I had to come in for a peek. I can remember a time when I'd never thought I'd make it this far, but here I am beaming with pride on my successful quit. And check out the stats! Wow, I'm truly amazed. I remember being at 60days and going.....this is going to take forever to reach a year. Here I am at 1yr 5mos. Amazing! For those who may be struggling, it can be done and it truly does get easier. In fact, the second quit was very simple for me because it was mind over matter. I was truly ready to quit and I suffered no withdrawals whatsoever. In fact, I almost forgot I was quitting. lol ~Leo" My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/26/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 535 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 9,630 Amount Saved: $2,675.00 Life Gained: Days: 37 Hrs: 5 Mins: 25 Seconds: 45
