Stretching is good for those leg cramps but maybe you should have the doctor check it out to be safe!

3 weeks is a great accomplishment. Your doing a great job, and your body is going through alot of changes, hopefully things will get better for you real soon. Drink alot of water and check with your
DR if the cramping, don't get better for you.

Way to go, Patrick! 3 weeks already?!!
Looks like those days are clicking on by. Congratulations you are doing great! And I am hoping that you spend more time in the happy zone not the crabby zone ;)
A Dr. appointment does sound in order. Could the cramps be the result of Chantix? I also had them in the beginning but once I went off of the chantix, I've not had a problem. Also, as Anna would say, eat banannas!!

I too had some muscle cramps and aches. I attributed it to my excess stress, being all tense all day. It has gotten much better, I also started taking a calcuim, D, Magnasuim suppliment to help. I don't dring any milk, so I started this and it helped alot too. A co worker told me to eat banannas for the potassuim, supposed to help with that too. Even if that doesn't work, its good for you anyway. Hope you feel better... ;)

DL - I'd recommend setting up an appt with your doctor for a check-up. It's a good thing to do when you quit anyway - part of the "new healthy you" plan!
I went through a few weeks of "charlie horses" - muscle spasms in my legs - had something to do with my sodium levels.

Thanks to you all so much for being here and for all the encouragement! I wouldn't be at this point but for all of you...
I'm rolling between irritability and plain happiness but my leg muscles have been seizing a lot over the past two weeks... anybody else get these stiff muscles and aching ? I have started stretching exercise but is this a withdrawal symptom ?
Thanks again, Folks....patrick
