Thoughts aren't bad in themselves. They just not be the thoughts we want to have. So just say..."oh, there's a thought about smoking." See it and let it go. "Oh there's a thought about smacking my husband with the skillet." "There is no need to hold onto things that doesnt work in our life"-Nonic "Cultivating a happy heart takes no more than 5 minutes"-Duffis "The 'pleasure' (relaxed and enjoying things) is what non-smokers feel all the time"-Penitent "I am meeting myself for the first time in a long time"-Nonic "Quitting is a learning process"-Martha My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/4/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 137 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,740 Amount Saved: $548.00 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 7 Mins: 22 Seconds: 35

As Requested................ Smokes add no value to my existence, they in fact do the opposite, hinder my existence. -stickin to it That slip might take me somewhere that I do not want to go........I KNOW I DO NOT WANT TO BE A SMOKER -Doodles Take it one day at a time and push yourself to make a positive change for the better! -Josie It will be so nice to enjoy the party without thinking about when I can have my next smoke! -Jodie Just keep stringing those non-smoking mornings together and one day (who knows which), one of the mornings won't seem as bad. -Lori I honestly believe that, for me, the cravings can only be as strong as I allow them to be...and I don't plan on giving them strength. -Kelly OHHHHHH DID I FORGET TO SAY....I UPPED MY HERSHEY BAR CONSUMPTION!! -Mercy When you quit for yourself, you are protective of your quit, and you won't let anyone or any circumstance come between you and your new life. -Rusty The good news is that you can grow yourself out of this, but it takes time. Sadly a great many people give up early. -Nonic And like you I thought 'Can I really do this?' Well, the answer is a resounding YES and it's the best thing that I've ever done. -Mr.Ed I pamper myself because I deserve it. No one else knows how hard this is for me. -Blue Cloud I will not let a little cigarette run my life! -Lainey Some of us struggle to get our quits and we are no exception. Just do it and it will happen -Sparky When your desire to quit outweighs your desire to smoke, you will quit. -Lady Yes, this process can be difficult, but it is ultimately do-able -Alohakeia All you have to do is not smoke, take it a minute at a time soon the minutes turn to hours and the hours to days etc. just remember N.O.P.E -SullyDog Life is about challenges...with a breather here and there. If it wasn't, we'd never grow. -LampLighter I haven't read one post that said - wow, thank God I blew my quit and my health, it really helped my problem!! whew! -Sue in NC Put on your big girl panties and deal with it. -No Smoking Tresa WOOHOO!! Us!! -Unhooked Ladies and Gentlemen, Sally has been a non-smoker for 2 weeks today!!!! ..and the audience stands up and shouts "yea yea" -Sally MMMMMMWWWAAAHHHH!!!!!!! -Phil For most smokers, the best time to quit is tomorrow. There's unlikely to be that magical configuration of stars and moon which means your life is in perfect harmony. It may happen, but I personally wouldn't wait around for it. Freebird137 If you want to quit, you can. -Anna My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 314 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,710 Amount Saved: $1,318.80 Life Gained: Days: 29 Hrs: 2 Mins: 37 Seconds: 14
