Unhooked, Yeah, these times in our lives can be like wearing sandpaper clothes. We rub up against them and they hurt like the dickens when we are in it but afterward - all shiny, soft and new. You are a tough cookie and maybe soon you'll be a soft, shiny cookie. Don't worry, I don't know what that means either. Here is something just to make you smile. Cheers! Not "hopefully smoke-free", that isn't what I meant. Absolutely smoke-free and hopefully a better mother, is what I meant. Sparky, of course you're right and that very thing has proven to be my downfall in previous quits as well as previous personal crap to deal with. The difference for me this time is I am enlisting the help of family and friends and people who love me. It's quite dosconcerting for them, and they get a "w t h???" look on their face when I say I can't do this by myself and I could really use their help. They'll get over it. Also, I lurk here when I feel I want to take but have nothing to give. You all lift me up more than you will ever know. My loins are girded, I know I'll come out of this stronger, smarter, more confident, hopefully a better mother, and still smoke-free. Unhooked, thanks you for checking in. Just a thought here, whatever you are going though, doing it by yourself may lead only to more heart ache. I know we all have to "find" ourselves and we all have to deal with life issues, but friends, family or someone to lean on will help. None of us got to were we are in life without the support of someone. Take care and hope to see you soon. Rusty, thank you! I would have never ever ever guessed! Ok - but I have to know what in the world they tucked their togas into? No wonder the Greeks ended up so odd. They ran around holding their robes up instead of going into battle!? rofl - i'm getting very amusing mental pictures of Greeks running around holding their skirts up, and yelling "Battle stations everybody!"
