Kristilu, here are a few questions for you, not to answer here, but to ask yourself.
Are you back on the wagon today?
Have you gotten rid of your cigarettes, ashtrays, lighters, matches, cigarette case?
Have you created a list of reasons that you want to quit?
Do you have the keen awareness that you are an addict?
Do you understand that saying "There are no excuses I just have sucky coping skills" is not an excuse in itself?
Do you understand that you are the only one who can hold you accountable?
Do you realize that, even at your young age, you are hurting your body and your mind by constantly stopping and starting?
Can you see that maybe quitting smoking might help you save money and contribute to your family's health and well-being?
Have you developed some coping mechanisms for when you are craving?
Have you examined all the reasons why you keep going back to smoking?
Okay, enough lecture. I know that you can quit and I know that you will. Many of us have gone through all the stages and all the grief and we have come out stronger and healthier. You can do it, too!
