THANKS EVERYONE!!! Yall are so super spectacular SWEET!! -- I just love this place! I forgot to mention too that I'm helping my sis thru a divorce after 25 years as well.... But we're having a girls day out tomorrow so I'm looking forward to some relaxation and fun! And I will give my son a hug. I am so proud of him, I was told that he was the guy they sent to get the nurse when it happened (probably because he's so ridiculously fast! :)) And that when he got back to the gym he lead the other boys in a prayer..... awwwww.. My chest has been swollen with pride towards him this week. And there hasn't been any room for smoke!

Hi Kristilu. I'm so proud of you for hanging in during such a scary time. And I didn't think you fell off the wagon, I think we were all just concerned as to how you were doing, and if there was anything anyone could do to help. Congrats on sticking to it, and big hugs to you and your son. I'm glad his friend is going to be OK.

Sorry to hear about what happened...but glad to hear that you made it through a tough moment without running to the nicdemon. Little by little you will notice more and more how you can get through very tough situations without needing to smoke. You will do just fine. Make sure you give your little guy and yourself a big hug and know that you are in my thoughts. Take Care.

Sounds as if you have come through a major hail storm there. But you have it exactly right. External reality remains the same if we smoke or if we choose not to smoke. The cigarettes never changed a thing with regard to real life outcomes. What does change when we choose to smoke is that we put at risk the opportunity to experience the world at all. Some would say that the whole point of life is to be engaged in the experience of being. There is little point in walking out of the show early...In any case I want to be around to see how it all comes out...
Keep up the great work, it is the best thing that you can do for yourself...

Kristilu, Glad to see you hanging in there! That's huge, you have learned a big lesson, stressful events can come and go without cigarettes, because smoking does not make anything better at any time, for any reason! Good for you, push through the tough times and you're on your way! Good for you! And I am glad your son's buddy is OK! :)
