That's great that you made it 15 days! Concentrate on that. Don't dwell on the slip. I think Aloha is right, if you get right back up and start again the withdrawls maybe won't be as bad. Also, don't give your partner or the cigarettes the satisfaction that they are stronger than you. You deserve this quit and you CAN do it. Starting Now. I wonder if you want to go through a whole lot of years smoking again. I feel for you, but smoking will not take care of whatever you are feeling in terms of your boyfriend. I can't tell you how much withdrawals you will experience if you stop right now, but I have a hunch it will not be as bad as those first five days. Why not make a plan to do this positive thing for yourself and treat yourself really really nice for the next few days. Pamper yourself, rest, take long baths or showers, rent a few dvds, whatever makes you feel good. And read and post here as much as you want. Plenty of people here will help you through this. btw, good for you on the 15 days! Having managed to stop for 15 days, i had a huge argument with my partner on Friday night culminating in him moving out yesterday. Last night i went out and bought a packet of 10 cigarettes and smoked the whole lot in the space of 3 hours, and now today, feel im right back at square 1. I dont want to start smoking again, but dont think i can go through that awful first 5 days again :( My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/29/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 15 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 300 Amount Saved: 75.00 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 8 Mins: 39 Seconds: 3
