Congratulations on such an accomplishment. It feels good not to "have" to smoke. I'm sure your daughter enjoyed it as well. Unhooked, Honestly, this is one of the reasons I keep coming back to this place. This "quitting lark" can be a difficult thing but often the most challenging things have the sweetest rewards. It's amazing to "see" them happening in other people's lives - to witness just a sliver of the growth that is possible when our heads come out of the fog. Sometimes it is good to feel life and all it holds. To breathe it in deeply and really live :) Thanks for improving my day! Thank you for sharing your evening with daughter with us. Those times when we get them are so special. It only goes to show us if we do what is right the rewards are there for the taking. I really could feel your feelings, all warm and special. There are more moments for you and the rest of us is we remember not to smoke today. Hi Unhooked! What a wonderful experience. It is sad to think of all of the special events we as smokers have missed. They have always been there but, we could not truely enjoy them because our minds were outside dancing at the smoking rail with the junkie! Life is soooooo much sweeter without smoking!!! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 86 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,580 Amount Saved: $412.80 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 15 Mins: 25 Seconds: 8
