Working on Day 3

Mercy...wow...that is exactly what I am doing. I have accepted that the first week is crappy but I'm going to have to go through it if I am ever going to be successful at quitting this destructive habit/addiction. Somehow, it is easier to get through when I accept this. GREAT JOB JOY, Most aren't aware your brain has the POWER to DIMISS thoughts. When they pop into your head just say, "It's not an option. I don't do that anymore." then move on. The more you practice that the easier it becomes. Welcome to SSC, Joy! You're doing very well so far! Lots of deep breathing, cold water, and reading here will help. Hold on tight, it so worth it! Good Morning....Day three is going good so far :) Hubby and I had a few mini fights yesterday but stopped when we realized that it was the not smoking that was making us so cranky.
