You all all too kind! The SSC is a great place to quit, but I'm sure could be an even better place if more people put something back in! (present company excepted of course!) ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 674 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 20,220 Amount Saved: 5,055.00 Life Gained: Days: 108 Hrs: 6 Mins: 7 Seconds: 41

I too appreciate the heck out of you, Mr Ed. i forgot to put that :) And we do miss you very very much when you are gone. I remember trying to figure out who was making 30 days, the ship, and the beach when you were gone this summer. it was so hard without your daily list. Every day I would log on, hoping you were back, and was so happy when you were. Thank you for all the work you do for us. Mr Ed, of course what you do is valuable, it is a gift. I know we all help many that never ever post but who read here everyday, put that knowledge in your pocket and let it pat you on the back whenever you need it. Without you, without each of us, our family would not be the same. You always have my thanks and appreciation whether I post it or not :) Sue My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 229 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,290 Amount Saved: $400.75 Life Gained: Days: 21 Hrs: 19 Mins: 35 Seconds: 17

Jodi, Sensitive and emotional is fine by me! Thanks for what you do here - you are a good example to others! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 671 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 20,130 Amount Saved: 5,032.50 Life Gained: Days: 107 Hrs: 19 Mins: 56 Seconds: 51

Thank you for the clarification and kind words Mr. Ed. I'm not usually so sensitive and emotional. I'm sorry. I think what Blue Cloud said is true, I'm at a weird point and not totally in tune with my feelings. I would love to be a regular contributer here and give back, as I have been given so much. Maybe I can get my teenage daughter to give me a lesson on using cool graphics like Anna's! You guys are the best - thanks for being here. Mister Ed, You have personally been a great help to me. I remember the pride I felt when I ask you to add me to the list.(I only had a few weeks and wasn't sure that you would think I was a real quitter) You added me that day and everytime I thought about smoking after that I would think about messing up your list. Jodi, you are a quitter, your in that confussing emotional time and it is easy to mis understand what is written. For that matter it is easy to misunderstand the your own thoughts.LOL Goofy, you can call me a virgin anytime. I'm still trying to do it right too! We are all together in this. If it was easy none of us would be here. I guess we're all online "virgins" (heh heh) so to speak. This is also the only forum I've ever gotten involved with. I've got to say though, I'm so glad I did. If it wasn't for my fellow Octobreathers, and some of the longer term quitters, this would be a lot harder for me as I'd feel quite alone with the quit. I really don't think I'd be approaching 50 days. Mr. ED, Tresa, unhooked, bear, just to name a few, are the reason that I, and may I say my fellow Octobreathers are being successful with our quits. I know there are a lot more people to thank. So from my heart, thanks to all. Jodi, I'm sorry that you interpreted my post in the way that you did; having read it again, I can understand why! However, let me reassure you that what I meant was 'Thank you JODI and GOOFY - it's people like you who make the site special by joining in!' It only normal to relate to people of a similar quit 'age', but I think that if all of us did that all of the time, the SSC would be a pretty worthless place. Thank you again - and I have noticed that the likes of you and GOOFY contribute a lot here! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 670 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 20,100 Amount Saved: 5,025.00 Life Gained: Days: 107 Hrs: 15 Mins: 44 Seconds: 10
