Jodi - I don't see Mr. Ed as "picking" on you. I think he is happy to see new people joining in. I take it as a "welcome" and encouraging you to stick around. Don't fret, he is a good horse and doesn't bite. This is my first and only online experience as well. Just do what you are comfortable with and leave the rest to the good speakers of the group! (that is what I do as I am not good with words, that is why I use alot of graphics!) Thank you Aloha. It seems quite silly, but I've been a basket case lately and this has finally got out a good cry out of me. oh jodi, you are doing great in your quit. I think our dear equine is feeling a bit overwhelmed in that he works and works and he just loves to see new members getting enthusiastic. I think he was just tryng to encourage you and goofy to step up a bit because he sees such great potnetial in you folks to encourage your fellow quitters. Do what you want to do, but know that some of the longer quitters think you are a long-termer in the making, ok? Wow! So you would like to see the likes of Goofy and I joining in more? Sorry if I'm not...doing it right. I thought joining in 147 times in the past 57 days that I've been a member was OK. And Goofy totally rocks! I love this site and it has helped me so much but I'm feeling kind of weird about it now. Like quitting smoking is so new to me, so is being a member of something like this. I've never communicated with people on the computer that I've never met before, not to mention I've never taken part in an on line public forum. It has been somewhat awkward for me to share here, and I do not feel like I have a way with words, but I've been doing my best to be a positive contributer. I have been more successful in quitting than I ever thought I could be. I owe a lot of my success to this site and I am extremely grateful. Presently though, I feel like crap. You are so right Mr. Ed, as usual. Yes we need to hear & see the experience of older quitters but we also need to hear from the new ones for me they keep my quit fresh and it also reminds me I am one smoke away from loosing what I have. We need to support each other not matter how many minutes, hours, days, months or years one have. OK, some of the usual suspects have posted - and yes, thank you very much for your comments! The point is - I would very much like to see the likes of JODI and GOOFY joining in more (and thanks for replying) - this is what the SSC should be about! We are all in this Quit together - irrespective of Quit 'age'. Hi Mr. Ed! I'm sorry you feel that way. I have no idea how you do it, but I think your stat lists are truly amazing!!! It is so generous of you to take the time to keep us all informed. I wish I could personally congratulate every one of the awesome quitters right now. For me, at the present time, I'm lucky to get a few minutes to post. My life is all of a sudden so hectic. I feel like I'm behind in all of my responsibilities and obligations and I'm quite stressed. Congratulations Mr. Ed on your remarkable 22 months (20,000+ cigs not smoked)!!! Take Care!
