Don't deck anyone, CC. You're handling it right. Lots of deep breaths. You can use the same skills to keep yourself from hitting him as you do to not smoke. Breaths, delay, count to ten... Unfortunately we can't change or control jerky people we can only decide how we're going to let them impact us and our quit. Maybe if you visualize hitting him that will give you some relief. lol.
and yes, yes, yes to the sensitivity! I can't believe how easily I cry these days.
Hang in there! This is all about you! :)

Today at work I had an argument with a male co-worker about what goes where in a situation he had no business being in this work area.I stress male only because where I work there are only 4 women myself included to about 130 men. Most of the men are great except this one is very chauvinistic (sp?) Anyway I am taking so many deep breaths and I'm working on my cuban temper not to mention crying like an idiot because I'm so angry I want to hit something. This person disrepected and insulted me in front of the team involved in this project. I don't feel like smoking as much now as I did before but now I can't stop crying. I hate to cry in front of anyone c'mon I'm a former truck driver and used to be hard as nails. This not smoking has made me too sensative. Anyway I just needed to vent and I won't smoke. I"ll deck him first before I allow him or anyone to jeapordize my quit. I'll keep breathing and using my coping skills.
