First of all congrats on 13 days. It is not easy giving up an addiction, yes addiction. I started smoking at the age 12 and smoke 50+ years. Was it easy to quit, h3ll no!! This has been one of the hardest thing I have ever done and I sure hope I don't have to do this again.
Yes you are going to feel uncomfortable for some days and maybe a few weeks. You have been putting poison into your body for years and it just won't go away in a few days. Please, please give yourself and your body a chance to heal.
Also, for me, it can be real easy to talk yourself into may just a puff or just one, DON'T DO IT!!! Come here read, drink water, walk, scream out loud, just don't smoke.
When will it get better, soon very soon. Instead of thinking about it all the time take some time and reflect on the gift you are giving yourself. Take a deep breath, doesn't feel good and you are not coughing up your toe nails.
Hang in there, okay?
Keep the Quit
