Newquitter, Some aches and pains are normal when you are going through withdrawal symptoms but server stomach pain is not. If they persist or get more severe please go to see your doctor about this. Brenna, Bilingual Support Specialist

I have stomach pain too , this is not my first quit .. 2 days now but it is my longest , I have realized before if I did not smoke for 3 4 hours I would get these stomach pains , quite bad actually , not to mention my legs felt heavy and painfull too and many other symptoms, it`s all part of the withdraw process I guess. They all go away once our body is nicotin free . Thanks guys, for all the advice; Did not mean to reply,but it got so bad I went to the hospital; I had eaten something the night before that did not agree with me and did a number on my guyt. I am feeling myself today gain. Other than that it only took about three days for the regular withdrawl to subside. Cannot tell u how much better I feel already. Sandyhgirl, some people had stomach troubles, and some had constipation etc, which could be related to what you are feeling. Sandy, Your body is healing and it will take some time for it to adjust to the new you. Smoking does have a habit of masking problems, so be sure to check with your doctor to rule out anything medical. Make sure you relax yourself and give your body some healing time :)

Hi everybody, and let me wish everybody well on this board; I just want to know, is epigastric pain, and I mean "punch in the gut" type of pain, normal part of withdrawl process? I have passed the head rush, confusion, even the sleepiness is diminishing, thought I was going to make it; But since yesterday, I have been having definitive stomach pain in the upper areas. I hope it is related to the withdrawl, because if it is , then I can get thru it. Just concerned, I have not had this type of discomfort before. Thanks for any replies.
