mermaid, How are you doing? I'm going through a very similar situation as you. Did you quit your job when this happened to you? I continue to work but have been doing so from home as I fight the agoraphobia - it hasn't been easy.

I overcame panic disorder that started four years ago. I even got a job and lived panic free and happy for a year. Until I had a panic attack on my way to work and developed agoraphobia. Now I€™m home for few months and even thou I don€™t have panic attacks... I€™m to scared to find another job and start living. All I do is watch old sitcoms like €œWho is the boss?€ and take walks within a safe distance of my home. Friends and family are disappointed with me. I don€™t know what it is... I just for some reason can€™t seem to get motivated. Ps. Perhaps I just need some rest for a while. I have been though a very rough road of recovery with no meds or support. It wasn€™t easy.
