I Made It Through A Rough Drive

I just want to say YAY for you. I have not driven on a freeway in about 10 years. It's my biggest phobia. It's so good to hear others have it and are working on successfully overcoming it.

Good for you for working through it and past it. It takes a great deal of courage so give yourself a huge pat on the back for all of your efforts. Rose

Just thought I would post this as a little encouragment to other people that have the same fears I do. I had decided to go to my brothers for dinner, and I knew it was going to mean panicking the whole time on the highway. The day of the dinner, I woke up feeling spaced out and really anxious. I thought the day was a scrub, but I decided to tough it out and try. After almost getting off the highway from intense panic, my girlfriend talked me onward and I was able to continue. I made it there and home. Sure, I had alot of anxious moments; But I went through them and past them. Hope that might inspire someone. You CAN do it. It's not always comfortable, but you can. *s*
