You are strong, the junkie will die down each time you win the battle. You may be suffering the 60 day craves. Did you have them at 30 days? Hey Kaiti, You are doing great. I too made it through my first Thanksgiving without smoking. It is a big deal. I am proud of us both and we will continue to make the choice to not smoke. I am with you. Hello everyone and I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday weekend. I was in Florida with my family enjoying a smoke free vacation. Although I struggled at times because both my mom and sister were smoking, my kid's and hubby kept me strong (besides, they would have killed me if I had smoked!) I just ate alot, swam in the pool alot and drank alot of water, which helped. Not smoking is a choice. I feel GREAT about making it through without smoking. It's a good feeling, although I do have residual intense cravings. Maybe from being outside with them while they smoked, I'm not sure. The craves come in waves, and I have been able to fight them off. The voices tell me to reward myself for being so good, they LIE!!!!! Thanks, Kaiti My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/25/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 62 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,240 Amount Saved: $341.00 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 15 Mins: 26 Seconds: 3
