Cigarette smell

16 years ago 0 3307 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I just read this. I think sometimes I like the smell of a cigarette, sometimes. I do not like the smell of someone who has just smoked a cigarette. They stink!!! I remember one time a co-worker told me that smokers smelled. I told him in no uncertain terms that I did not smell and he said oh yes you do. Man that really ticked me off. So I made sure I use extra body spray after I had a smoke :eg: Oh, Jodi, what I must have done to my own children. It just makes me sick. I mean it makes me sick. When my daughter got married she kept her wedding dress at a friends house so it would not smell like smoke. I now understand and all I can do is say I am sorry and pray that my smoking will not effect them later down the road. So walking my someone smoking not bad, to have someone sit down by me that just smoked, icky :eg: Keep the Quit Sparky My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/30/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 236 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,360 Amount Saved: $354.00 Life Gained: Days: 31 Hrs: 20 Mins: 5 Seconds: 50

The other day I was giving a ride to my daughters 10 year old friend. When she got in the car I noticed right away that she must have been in a house where someone was smoking. I felt so bad that that sweet little girl had to be in a smokey house and go around smelling like smoke. yes Eddie, could be big trouble ... do not sit in a car with smokers. it's o.k. to like the smell, but to tempt fate ? i wouldn't sit in a bar if i was an alcoholic. i commend you on your strength. Cigarettes Not Smoked

I was in a car with 3 smokers and they must have smoked 2 or 3 times within an hour and all I could think about is.... this does not bother me. I seem to be liking it. Am I setting myself up for trouble? I have mixed feelings about the smell, I never would allow smoking in my house because of the smell, but if I am outside and some one is smoking I can take it, but not in a car or room. What does that make me? {sometimes one of those exsmokers?} My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 104 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,352 Amount Saved: $520.00 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 14 Mins: 18 Seconds: 30

As for cigarette smell...I like it! Honestly, the smell of a freshly lit cigarette does not offend me at all. I really do like it. I steer clear though because for me it spells danger. Maybe someday I will hate it. Maybe not. I kind of hope to become indifferent to it. That stale smell smokers carry on them...now, that is gross! I knew I stunk. I just didn't know that my attempts to cover it up were as unsuccessful as they very likely were. Sort of embarassing now. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/25/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 87 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,610 Amount Saved: $508.95 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 19 Mins: 29 Seconds: 40

I cannot abide the smell at all & I am "one of those" ex-smokers. I get on the few smoking friends I have all the time about how they smell & I never miss a cough or a wheeze. Maybe that's why I have so few smoking friends anymore? The fact is I NEVER liked the smell of it, and seriously believed that I did not smell like other smokers. I guess I thought I was special somehow. Yeah, special with a capital R. :confuse: My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 190 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,800 Amount Saved: $2,090.00 Life Gained: Days: 19 Hrs: 2 Mins: 8 Seconds: 24

I did not stink....(addicted junkie talking) I bet if you asked 100 people who smoke if they stink, only a small percentage would raise their hand. The funniest thing is, I was a closet smoker. Bet I fooled alot of people huh!
