Yay Deb!!!!!!! Glad you're joining us. Yes, the first little bit will leave you feeling pretty spacy. Lots of cold water, and plan on resting and pampering yourself as much as possible. This is a major undertaking, so you deserve some niceness. Let us know how we can help My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 231 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 9,240 Amount Saved: $1,570.80 Life Gained: Days: 32 Hrs: 4 Mins: 38 Seconds: 13

Hey Deb, You've got Day 2 behind you now and you are on your way! Your positive attitude will pull you through all that physical weirdness of these first days. If you haven't yet, check out the online program - it is chock full of good ideas about how to get through the tough craves. The rewards of quitting are many and the worst of this is short lived. Speaking of rewards - you might want to line up some rewards for these first days, they help keep you motivated and on track. All the best My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/5/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 1189 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 23,780 Amount Saved: $5,350.50 Life Gained: Days: 90 Hrs: 19 Mins: 36 Seconds: 15

Hi Everyone, I quit yesterday, and out of sheer desperation started searching the internet for a support group to get me through today. So I want to thank the creators of this site, as well as the members because you all got me through some horrible cravings today. I'm spaced out and so tired. I slept 12 hours last night, and already need to go to bed again. My attitude is positive though. I feel resolved regardless of how crummy I feel because all of the crumminess is worth the rewards I'm already experiencing. Thanks for being here Deb My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/6/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 24 Amount Saved: $7.02 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 4 Mins: 36 Seconds: 54
