I must admit, I feel so much better about myself. I love watching the smokers at work standing in the cold and rain too! I just happened to look at the calender and realized that yesterday was my two year anniversary of not smoking. Shocked I tell you. I looked at my stats and a tear came to my eye. I am just so thankful that I am smoke-free. It was the best hardest thing I have ever done, if that makes sense. I was one of those people who "knew" they could never quit. I didn't have any willpower and I really didn't want to stop smoking..... But then I found out I was going to be a 1st time Grandpa, and my daughter simply said all she wanted from me was to quit smoking so I could enjoy my Grandbaby. Thats all it took. Yeah, I put on 35 pounds, but so what, I feel soooooo much better! If you are having a difficult time, stick with it, you CAN do it. I was smoking more than 3 packs a day and had done so for more than 35 years.... It CAN be done my friends. Find something that motivates you. It was simple for me, because I wanted to hug and kiss my Grandbaby more than I wanted a cigarette. My Grand-daughter is now 17 months old and fills my life with pride and smiles. She is worth all the difficult days I had to endure when I quit. I thank God for her everyday, she saved my life. Hello to all my "old" friends and best of luck to all my new ones.
