Hi Kev,
I am pleased to hear that Gracie is starting to improve. So are you going to share in the nappy changing?!
I think we ought to have your Day 120 celebrations now! Congratulations on reaching this auspicious milestone! :) :) :)
So I suppose you are wondering what is going to happen now. Well, day 123 is probably not going to be much different to day 119 or day 121. Whereas months 3 and 4 can be described as 'The Rollercoaster' or 'No-mans Land', month 5 sees increasing confidence and self-belief. In fact, everything from now on sees improvement. Your brain chemistry is starting to even out the levels of dopamine, beta-endorphin etc. So day 150 feels significantly better than day 120. You will still have the odd bad day - but the lows will not be as low, and they will go sooner.
I have read that a person who quits on Day 1 has a 5% chance of making it to one year. From my own observations, if you make it to Month 4, then the odds are around 75% and Month 5 then around 90%. Are you going to go for 90%?
Lizzie :)
