Morning All, Unhooked, I know some people like going to the dentist. Even my sister. But that is because she never ever needs any work done and only has to go every two years! Envious, moi? Never :) I remember the junkie talk that happened to you after the dentist btw. Here is my very own which happened whilst reading Mister Ed's dental thread. For once I smiled at it and am not obsessing or going into some deep thinking ritual over it. So this is just for records. Junkie Thought : 'If Mister Ed has quit for thousands of days and is having problems with his teeth (and it only seems to have happened after he quit) maybe you should just never quit smoking at let what happens happens' It is the same as 'if you smoke one it is the same as smoking one million, you have the same chance now of getting cancer' By my logic that sounds like a faulty statement to me. I don't know where I got it from. On the dentist front I will be thinking of you on Tuesday morning Lizzie. I'll have another half day to stress mine. It sounds like we have the same kind of dentophobia! I am being physically escorted to the dentist again so I don't prentend I have been. Its weird, in an upside down position, my nose don't work. I cannot breathe through it, so I am relying on breaks in between the sucker thing. I'll give an update on Tuesday evening. It's obviously a dangerous time for me (as I would normally smoke twice as many before and after such an event and only stopped from smoking during the event because the dentists don't like it). Now I have a policy of just do it, get it done (aka penitent's JFDI for dentistry as well as smoking). In effect, my first real challenge I think. It is a pity they don't tell me on the spot, then I have little time to be fearful. I really hope I don't blubber through the whole thing as the redhead dental assistant is a real cutie. :) Anyway. HUGS from Kev. p.s. Happy morning coffee everyone. Lizzie, let me know how you do. Good luck and best wishes! Don't tell Anna you went to the dentist. She'll be jealous, she's a freak that way. Hope it all went well.
