WOW, Wazz!!!!! Good for the "COOL UNKLE"!!! Keep encouraging your nephew. I use to be a closet smoker coz,I didn't want anyone to see me and think it was okay... How stupid.. Yeah Waz - you are a cool uncle. That's one great gift you have given your nephew. My friend stopped three weeks ago - he said to me "If you can do it, so can I". His wife is completely rapt as she gave up years ago and no amount of nagging has had any effect. My son (18) is also thinking about stopping, having seen me quit (the money inspires him most of all but, hey, whatever floats his boat). All this without any nagging or guilt trips - just leading by silent example. That's really paying it forward! Another perk I got for quitting 12 days ago. My nephew who is only 15 smokes. Well he told his mom since I quit (im the cool uncle) not my words his, he was gonna quit and he did. He is on day 4 now. Im real proud of him. Now thats a perk better than any other. So I guess with or without knowing we my be role models also and if we quit others may follow. In my case its true. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/2/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 11 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 242 Amount Saved: $65.34 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 18 Mins: 6 Seconds: 54
