feeling down

Thanks Rusty and Josie, After work and I pick up my daughter maybe I'll treat us to dinner instead of cooking tonight. I'm on my 3rd week of Chantix is it possible this is what why I'm up so early? I woke at 5 am yesterday and could not get back to sleep. Has anyone felt kind of bummed out using Chantix? The last time I used the patch and this has been better for me by far. I'd rather have the sleepless nights than go back to smoking again. cuban, Your sleep patterns are likely to change when you quit! You may or may not need extra sleep. As your body is changing, it will take time to heal. Use relaxation techniques to get you to bed early and ease yourself into sleep :) Josie, Support Specialist

Well, dear Xena, seems to me since you've just been not smoking for a whole week, that it's time for a reward! So what can you do today to celebrate and congratulate yourself? How about going to a park? Yes, Mondays can be bummers, but non-smokers have those days too -- no sugar, no milk, forgot to get cash, stubbed my toe. Those will happen, but smoking won't take them away. You are doing so great and we are all so proud of you! Not sure why other than withdrawal and changes but I woke up at 4 am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. I got up, put on water for my tea and realized no sugar. It seems like Mondays just don't agree with me. I've been kind of bummed out and figured I'd post. I'm still smoke free. I hope everyone else has a good day!!
