Hi Ilovemylungs Welcome to ssc...it really is a great place to get excited about quitting. Most of us here never thought we could do this, but are, very successfully. As I'm sure you've seen, there are quitters in all stages of their quits, and using all kinds of methods to do it. Something you said struck me
I'm just starting to prepare to think about possibly considering quitting
and I thought how we need to help you eliminate most of those words, one by one; 1) possibly, 2) considering, 3) think about, 4) just starting, and finally 5) prepare. Subtract the random preposition, and what you'll end up with is
I'm quitting!
Now, won't that be a beautiful thing? So, how about taking away one of those words at a time, and see what happens? Let us know how we can help. Hi all! I wanted to introduce myself here, since I'll be spending a lot of time with you the next few months, lol. I'm just starting to prepare to think about possibly considering quitting :) I've been reading a few of the threads here - and I get excited about getting to where some of you are right now. It always seems like my delusional addiction convinces me to just wait it out until the circumstances are just right for quitting. As I get older, I've started to realize that circumstances never align themselves to make life easier on you. Hopefully, I'll get a few tips on how to ignore the addict in me and go for it! See you around :) Ciao.
