Hello gang! Can't stay but wanted to pop in and say hello. Still going strong here on day 52. I also want to throw my writers block in the fire. Started on a piece of music and then just hit a wall. GRRRR! I offer my usual Malibu Rum for you all. Getting chilly here, but MAN what a fire! Looks good! Not really sure what happened to my numbers... but where ever they are they are all still good! 2 years, 4 months, 4 days...But who is counting any more???? Still as it is mostly a thing of the past, I still drop by for a party and some reminders of why I came here in the first place. Haven't really been tempted in a long while, but the occasional thought still travels through that I could if I wanted to go through it all again...NOT!!!! Nothing but good here, My friend's father is in heaven tonight, my mother did not have a heart attack like they told me, my bills are all paid, my kids don't need to borrow anything, the husband is asleep for another hour and a half before he heads out to work, and I still have one more day off before I have to go to work. Yep, nothing but good. How about I just toss in a couple of old trees that are lying around on the property? They will burn even if they are a little wet. Cheryl

Well, with all that lack of common sense, teenage attitude & sprquits' ex, this fire is gonna burn all night! Whoa, ducked just in time. Stand back from the sparks, guys! Thank goodness for a fire to throw all the b.s. Unhooked, I've got some more (can you believe how much there is?) general lack of common sense, the usual 13 lbs and a bad mood for the fire. And, since there is quite a bit of bad mood, I am going to double up on chocolate, if you don't mind, and have hot chocolate and a s'more. Yummy! I've been hanging on to this marble ash tray that my first girl gave to me when I was 18. I used it up to the day that I quit and since stuck it on a shelf in the garage. I hadn't dare trash it however if you don't mind I would like to dump it now. Maybe it will help keep the fire going strong. Bring on those marshmellows, and beer! Hey, Cheryl, we haven't seen you in forever. Where's your meter, girl? Kaycee, welcome back & congrats on the 25 days. You can really kid yourself with those singles, can't you? As long as you aren't buying a pack, you aren't "really" a smoker, right? We call them "loosies" here & it's actually illegal to sell them but you can stil get them if you know where to go. You know you can do it & you know how because you already did. Good for you for making a fresh N.O.P.E start. Sprquits, you might not know, we can actually throw exes into the fire. They burn hot & fast & sometimes shoot purple sparks out of their butts. Something to keep in mind. Stickin! Wow, it's good to see you at the bonfire. Pull up a piece of blanket & what can I get you? Try a Canadian beer? Here we go, I've brought bags of marshmellows, boxes of graham crackers and bars of chocolate for the smores. Perhaps I should see if I can round of some hot chocolate and beer! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 655 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 11,790 Amount Saved: $3,602.50 Life Gained: Days: 119 Hrs: 13 Mins: 57 Seconds: 38

Hey Unhooked, I've made it! Long day at the lab followed by a nice walk home in the company of a good friend. Dinner was quite big... lamb chops and rice so now all I'll have are a couple of beers and maybe some roasted marshmallows for the sweet tooth ;P. Throwing in an annoying few days of preparing my talk and the usual frustration with my lawyer who never responds and the ex who'll keep blaming me forever. Other than that all is good in nice, brisk Montreal... just waiting now for next week when my sweet boyfriend (who's managed to stay smoke free for 6 days now!!!! wooohooo!!!) will visit :) hehe, can't wait!
