I never knew that either. Maybe that is why quitters chew sunflower seeds. Blech! If sunflower seed oil activated seratonin then I can handle that. Pasta cooked in sunflower seed oil, add some baked beans... mmmm If it is bland soft and tasteless then thats my bag (as the young kids say) :) ..and to think I gave all my sunflower seeds from the SSC sunflowers to the birds. If only I had known...I would have still given the sunflower seeds to the birds :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/12/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 118 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,950 Amount Saved: 495.60 Life Gained: Days: 14 Hrs: 19 Mins: 3 Seconds: 55

Hi Bear, I like you. I can't even imagine a place without you around telling it like it is and all those cool bear threads. Influenced by uncle jack or not, they are always a good read. Pen is great. He's doing what I SHOULD be doing and so it is great that he popped in and reminded me. I haven't tried the fingers down throat thing yet mind you as that could make me sick :) My mind is slowly clearing and I know what I have to do now. You see it is the infinite iterations of what COULD happen that gets to me. Its the way my mind work. Where as a bear would think, mmm fish...munch. I would be thinking, mmm fish, can I swallow it? will I get ill? Will the other bears be angry? It is lucky I am not a bear as I would be starving!! :) p.s. Sue, thanks for letting me write to you. It is amazing how writing clears the mind. UPDATE : I have just been texted. My sister had a baby girl this morning via c-section, both are doing well though tired. Which means I am now a proud non smoking uncle !! Hey Kev Here's some more free advise. The experts say when you're feeling down eat some pasta !!! Apparantly it helps the brain to release serotonin ,which regulates well being, calmness, patience and energy.Who knew.Hey it wont hurt to give it a go. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 232 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,176 Amount Saved: $2,320.00 Life Gained: Days: 52 Hrs: 23 Mins: 13 Seconds: 13

Atta boy Kev.Nice to see you back on track. No need to apologize for going nuts I do it on a regular basis just for fun. ;p As far as becoming a uncle thats just a practise round until you become a father and then a grand father. :eg: Dentist time I'll trade you appoinments I am going the first week in Dec. to have three teeth extracted its the price you pay for getting old but I don't mind because they've served me well and they make pretty good false teeth I'm told. :) Hope I did'nt scare you Kev ;p it's just my off beat sense of humour I think Pen is right head on down to the local pub and hoist a few and have one for me too. :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 232 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,176 Amount Saved: $2,320.00 Life Gained: Days: 52 Hrs: 22 Mins: 57 Seconds: 52
